Most of us understand the noxious environmental impact of gasoline-powered leaf-blowers, with the noise and air pollution that pervades our neighborhood on a near-daily basis. To address this issue, I have been invited by Jim Levine, President of the Garden Hills Civic Association, to form a task force to explore different approaches and alternative technologies, preferably by the time of the April 2 GHCA annual meeting.
I invite Garden Hills residents who want to be part of this task force to contact me. I look forward to working with you for the good of the neighborhood.
